The Rattlebone Band play primarily for English Ceilidh, English Country and Contra dances. ​Our music is mostly lively and on the loud side, based on a rhythm section comprising banjo/guitar and tuba. Indeed, we have been known to shake up and surprise (pleasantly we are told) a few English Country dancers, particularly when we get to rock ‘n’ roll guitar going! However, rest assured we can occasionally be persuaded to play subtly!
